Big Bang Fair South Wales
EESW/STEMCymru is pleased to be bringing one of the largest events in STEM to South Wales again this year at Parc Y Scarlets, Llanelli on Thursday 19th April 2018. There will be over eighty EESW teams from across South Wales attending to display the work they have completed during the EESW Sixth Form Project in 2017–2018. There will be samples of the activities EESW/STEMCymru can offer all schools throughout Wales – including First Lego League, Introduction to Engineering (i2E), information about our Headstart Cymru courses and our F1 in Schools track! There will also be a number of interactive and exciting exhibits, including displays and activities from Mad Science South Wales, University of South Wales, Kier Construction, Educ8, General Dynamics, Arup, TATA Steel and many more, as well as shows from Science Made Simple and an interactive bridge building activity from the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE). This event is FREE to attend - all attendees MUST register via www.stemcymru.org.uk in advance of the event. EESW/STEMCymru is a registered charity and receives funding from the European Social Fund through the Welsh European Funding Office and the National Science Academy through the Welsh Government to provide STEM activities to Secondary school students throughout Wales free of charge.
